An entire school year has passed. During that time, it's likely that you've taken some risks. Maybe you've used your voice to stand up for others and learned to value the people in your school anew. Perhaps you've gained empathy and have become a better friend and a bigger part of your school community as a result. You've probably grown — and are still growing — in courage and goofiness and kindness and goodness and trust. And hopefully, you've realized that you, just as you are, are enough. Now, it's time to take those lessons with you and discover what's next. Onward!

At this point in the school year, you may be feeling tired. Maybe you've been studying non-stop for your final exams or have been scrambling to finish those assignments with rapidly-approaching deadlines. You may not feel like you have much to give, but now is actually a great time to give back. This week, help your teachers clean up your classrooms, offer to pull some weeds around your school or volunteer with a community service group. Providing others with assistance when you're stressed out will give you a much-needed break and will help you see beyond your books to the bigger picture. Plus, it's a great way to show the people in your life — parents, educators, school staff — that you appreciate their hard work too.
